Our journey then leads us eastward to the Amridil Kasbah, nestled amidst palm groves in Skoura. Continuing our adventure, we head to Kalaa Magouna, renowned for the Rose Valley. In May, an annual Rose Festival unfolds, showcasing local rose products starting from perfumes and perfume to oils and cosmetics.
Subsequently, our route takes us to Dades valley through Boumalne Dades. Commencing in Merzouga, we start an off-road journey to go to an ancient eyeliner mine. Pay a visit to nomads in their handmade woven tents, gaining insights into their way of life while sipping on traditional Berber tea. Our next stop is that the Khamlia village, where you’ll enjoyment of Gnaoua music and dancing performances. The inhabitants hail from sub-Saharan countries like Mali, Sudan, and Niger. Following lunch, take a leisurely stroll through a palm grove before driving a brief distance to witness the breathtaking wild lake of Merzouga, also referred to as the flamingos lake.
