After a leisurely stroll through the ruins, we travel 30 km to succeed in Meknes, the Ismaili capital and one among the imperial cities. Highlights of the Meknes visit include the renowned Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, the granary, and therefore the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Cedars forest- Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga Sahara

Upon reaching the Sahara in Merzouga during the afternoon, experience a camel ride across the sandy dunes, pausing atop a high dune to relish the breathtaking sunset. Finally, you’ll transition to a camp that seamlessly blends traditional nomadic tents with the posh of a hotel. Enjoy the enchanting ambiance with Berber drum music, dance round the campfire beneath the vast open starlit sky. Dinner and an overnight stay within the camp conclude the day.  

Day 4: Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Begin your day with an early morning wake-up, an important step to witness the mesmerizing sunrise amidst the desert expanse. Take some leisure for breakfast before embarking on a camel ride back to Merzouga, where your driver awaits. Departing from the desert, our next destination is that the historic Rissani town, once the capital of Tafilalet and still a prominent trading hub within the region.

Explore the colourful Rissani souk, then proceed to Erfoud, where a visit to a fossilized marble workshop awaits. Journeying through the luxurious palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad, we reach the Todra Gorges. Carved by the Todra River, these imposing red cliff-sided canyons provide a superb terrain for rock climbers. Enjoy a stroll within the gorges, savoring the natural great thing about the landscape. an opportunity for lunch at an area restaurant is followed by a continuation of our journey to the Dades Valley, passing through Boumalne Dades. Along the way, make stops at the remarkable “monkey fingers” rock formation and for a bird’s eye view of the Dades Valley. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay during a hotel.  

Day 5: Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Palm Groves of Skoura – Ouarzazate Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah- Telouet – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

Finally, we continue our trip to Kalaa Magouna, to go to the Rose valley. A Rose Festival is held annually in May. Where the locals offer their rose products. We then drive through the palm groves of Skoura to succeed in Ouarzazate. Where we visit the studios, during which famous movies were shot.

We depart to go to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified village recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Furthermore, the Kasbah has appeared in many movies including: Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy… etc. and television series including Game Of Thrones. Then we still Marrakech, by driving through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, and therefore the High Atlas Mountains. Stops are going to be made for lunch, and to require pictures at interesting spots.
